A collection of matching contemporary furniture with a limed oak finish, comprising a large sideboard, a dining table with chairs, low corner unit and a glazed display cabinet. The sideboard is designed with a thick molded top over a central long drawer and four cupboard doors featuring raised central panels. It is fitted with antiqued dark metal bail-style handles and stands on a shaped plinth base with a decorative apron. The interior is divided into three sections with wooden shelving and modern adjustable cup hinges. The dining table is of oval form, supported by twin turned baluster pedestals, each terminating in four curved, outswept legs. A set of matching high-back dining chairs features vertical slatted backs with three square cutout details and fixed seat pads upholstered in a floral tapestry-style fabric in muted pink, green, and cream tones. The glazed display cabinet features two doors with arched glazing bars and three adjustable internal glass shelves over a single full-width drawer, finished with a matching shaped plinth base.
Condition report:
The suite is in good overall condition with signs of light domestic use. There is minor wear to the limed finish consistent with age, particularly along the top edges of the chair backs and the plinth bases. One small area of finish loss is visible on the upper left corner of a chair back. The upholstery appears clean and intact. No major structural damage or staining is evident.
