A circular nautical-themed coffee table of mid-20th century design. The piece is constructed in the form of a ship’s wheel with twelve turned hardwood spokes radiating from a central hub. The hub is capped with a circular brass-tone metal plate. The frame holds an inset circular glass top within a moulded rim. The supporting base consists of a corresponding tiered arrangement of turned spokes.
Condition report:
Overall fair to good condition. Visible wear and minor scuffing to the polished surface of the outer wooden rim, consistent with age and use. The glass top appears to be free of major chips or cracks but shows surface dust and minor smudges.
