A trio of furniture items comprising a child’s side chair, a three-legged stool, and a bamboo occasional stand. The child’s side chair is of wooden construction with a pale yellow painted finish. It features a simple splat-back design with a shaped top rail, turned legs, and an H-form stretcher. A small illegible adhesive label is present on the top rail. The small stool is also of wooden construction, finished in grey paint, with a circular seat supported by three turned and splayed legs. The two-tier occasional stand is in the late Victorian style, featuring a bamboo frame with pegged joint construction. The stand includes a rectangular top and a smaller lower shelf, both inset with woven textured matting panels. The four main vertical supports are reinforced by horizontal bamboo stretchers and terminate in splayed feet.
Condition report:
The child\'s chair and stool show significant signs of wear and heavy use, including scuffing, paint loss, and surface distressing. The bamboo stand is in good antique condition, with minor surface scuffing to the frame and some fading to the woven inset panels consistent with its age and period.
