A collection of Matchbox Models of Yesteryear vehicles, manufactured from die-cast metal with plastic components. Each vehicle is housed within its original wood-grain effect window display box. The collection features a variety of early 20th-century commercial and passenger models. Identifiable liveries include a red Ford Model A delivery van for Postes Canada Post and a white and blue delivery truck with Pepsi-Cola branding. Other models in the group include an open-top commercial vehicle in dark green and various trucks finished in cream, blue, and red colour schemes. The packaging is prominently printed with the manufacturer’s Matchbox name and the Models of Yesteryear series title. One box features a white adhesive sticker with the handwritten reference J8535.
Condition report:
The vehicles appear to be in excellent, unused condition within their original packaging. The display boxes show signs of shelf wear consistent with age, including minor scuffing to the corners and light creasing to the cardboard panels. The clear plastic windows are intact but exhibit some surface dust and light scratches.
