The assembly is mounted on a solid rectangular plinth base. The piece is constructed from light-toned pine with a clear finish, displaying characteristic grain patterns and occasional knots. The reverse of the mirror is fitted with a simple hardboard backing panel. A small, rectangular white label is affixed to the lower corner of the backing board, although any printed information is not legible.
Condition report:
The mirror plate is generally clear but exhibits light surface spotting and minor foxing, primarily visible towards the bottom. The pine frame and base show minor surface wear, including small scuffs and indentations consistent with domestic use. The hardboard backing panel displays some dark spotting and discolouration.
