The collection also includes two substantial stacks of loose cards. Recognisable series among the loose cards include large-format Ty.phoo Tea cards from the Important Industries of the British Empire (No. 5, Australia: Wool), Trees of the Countryside (No. 19, Lombardy Poplar), and The British Empire (Badge of Nigeria) sets. Also present are W.D. and H.O. Wills Cigarettes Garden Hints cards. Completing the lot is a used brown card shipping tag featuring two green King George V half-penny postage stamps and a partial 1929 circular date stamp.
Condition report:
The collection exhibits signs of age-appropriate wear. The albums show scuffing to the covers and minor fraying at the corners and spines. Loose cards show typical handling wear, including some soft corners and light toning or foxing to the edges. One stack is secured with a rubber band, which has potential to cause slight edge indentations or staining over time. The postal tag is in used, weathered condition.
