Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises a collection of late 20th-century photographic equipment and a substantial personal slide archive. The equipment includes a mains-powered slide projector housed in a wooden transit case with a metal carrying handle, complete with a grey power cord and UK three-pin plug. Also present is a Hanimex Hanorama 35mm slide viewer in its original yellow and red cardboard box. Storage accessories include multiple Aldis XT magazines, some in original blue cardboard boxes with handwritten inscriptions for I.F.C Plymouth BRANCH, and a Boots Lightweight Slide Box designed for 100 colour slides, manufactured by Boots Pure Drug Company Ltd, Nottingham. Further items include a small Cabin branded box and a spare Hanimex A1/215 projection lamp in its original carton. The slide archive consists of a large quantity of 35mm transparencies organised in plastic storage boxes from manufacturers including Agfacolor and Jessops. These are extensively labelled with travel locations and dates spanning from 1970 to 1995, featuring destinations such as Germany, Holland, Austria, Switzerland, Durham, and Weymouth. A small box of magnetic sound recording tape is also included in the lot.

Condition report:

The photographic equipment appears to be in good cosmetic condition but is sold as seen and has not been tested for electrical safety or operational functionality. The wooden transit case and original cardboard packaging show signs of shelf wear, minor scuffing, and foxing consistent with age. The 35mm slides appear well-preserved within their containers, and the handwritten inscriptions remain clear and legible.
