A vintage piano accordion manufactured by Frontalini in Italy. The instrument features a cream-coloured casing decorated with hand-painted floral motifs in red, blue, and green. The brand name FRONTALINI is clearly visible on the upper chrome-effect grille in blue and white stylized lettering, and the panel above the bass buttons is marked ITALIA. The instrument is equipped with a standard piano-style keyboard and a bass section featuring twenty-four buttons arranged in three rows. The bellows are constructed from black fabric with metal corner reinforcements. The accordion is accompanied by its original black hard-sided carrying case which features a red fabric-lined interior and metal latches.
Condition report:
The accordion shows signs of significant age and wear, including surface scuffing, scratches, and areas of minor paint loss to the decorative motifs. The bellows appear intact but exhibit wear to the fabric edges. The carrying case is in a distressed condition, with extensive peeling and loss to the black exterior covering, heavy rust and corrosion on the metal hardware, and a damaged handle. The interior lining shows staining and wear. The instrument is sold as untested.
