Also present are a spring-tine lawn rake, a pair of long-handled garden shears with green and yellow painted shafts, and a bow saw with a tubular frame. The group contains multiple loose wooden tool shafts, one of which is impressed with the maker’s name Horner. A boxed car polisher is located at the base of the collection. The tools are constructed from a combination of forged and stamped steel, turned wood, and injection-moulded plastic components.
Condition report:
The items are in a used, as found condition. There is visible surface oxidation and rust on several metal components, notably on the bow saw blade and the shovel heads. The wooden handles and shafts show signs of weathering, abrasions, and paint loss consistent with age and outdoor use. The functional status of the boxed car polisher has not been verified.
