Buyer's Premium:

A trio of British collectables. The primary item is an A.E. Williams pewter-mounted glass spirit decanter. The square-profile glass body is seated within a heavy pewter base featuring a high-relief stag head to each face against a textured, hammered ground. The decanter is fitted with a glass stopper surmounted by a matching pewter mount depicting a stag in relief. The underside of the pewter base is stamped with the maker’s marks including the shields for AE and W, a portcullis, and a second W, alongside the text A.E. Williams Est 1779 and Made In Britain. The decanter is accompanied by its original black presentation box bearing the heraldic company crest.

The second item is a decorative wooden model of the Royal Navy vessel H.M.S. Victory. The wooden hull is finished in a traditional black and ochre Nelson Checker paint scheme with brass-toned cannons protruding from the gun ports. The vessel features three masts rigged with fabric sails and cordage, and is fitted with a small fabric Union Jack flag at the stern. It is mounted on a wooden plinth with a nameplate inscribed H.M.S. Victory.

The third item is a 1981 cupro-nickel commemorative crown coin, issued for the marriage of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. The obverse depicts HM Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse shows the profile portraits of the couple. The coin is presented in a blue PVC protective sleeve featuring a white crane logo.

Condition report:

The A.E. Williams decanter and stopper appear to be in excellent, unused condition within the original packaging. The wooden model ship is in good overall condition with rigging intact, though it may require minor adjustment following transit. The commemorative crown shows minor surface toning typical for its age, and the PVC sleeve is in good condition.
