A collection featuring various die-cast metal model vehicles with plastic components, primarily from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series. The Matchbox models include two Y-3 1912 Ford Model T tankers in BP and Zerolene liveries, two Y-5 1927 Talbot vans in Nestle’s Milk and Lipton’s Tea liveries, a Y-6 1920 Rolls Royce fire engine for Borough Green and District, a Y-13 1918 Crossley truck in Evans Bros. Coal and Coke livery, and a Y-25 1910 Renault Type AG van in Perrier livery. Also present is a Y-12 1912 Ford Model T van Silver Jubilee Edition celebrating twenty-five years of the series. The assortment is completed by a Pro Motor Vans delivery vehicle produced by Stevelyn and Company in Jersey Goldsmith livery and a Classic Car Model Collection 1936 Classic Sports car. All items are presented in their original card window boxes.
Condition report:
The vehicles appear to be in excellent, complete condition, remaining within their original packaging. The window boxes show signs of light age-related shelf wear, including minor corner scuffs, small creases to the card, and light scratching or slight yellowing to the clear plastic windows. One box retains a small circular yellow sticker, and another shows a small area of surface paper loss to the upper right corner.
