A lot of two signed items associated with England national rugby union teams. The first item is an official Gilbert Match-XV size 5 rugby ball produced for the RBS 6 Nations fixture between Wales and England U20’s on 6 February 2015. The ball is printed with the match date, the tournament logo, the Welsh Rugby Union crest, and match titles in both English (WALES v ENGLAND) and Welsh (CYMRU v LLOEGR). It features multiple player signatures in black ink across several panels. The second item is a Nike England Under-20s (U20) home rugby jersey in white with grey patterned panels on the sides and shoulders. It features a heat-applied England U20 red rose crest, a Nike swoosh, and a large O2 sponsor logo. The front of the jersey is signed by numerous players in black ink. One signature is identifiable as Daly and another as Hill, though many others exhibit significant ink bleeding into the fabric. The jersey includes a Nike Authentic patch at the hem with serial number 009704119 and an internal neck label indicating size XL. No certificates of authenticity or formal provenance are provided with either item.
Condition report:
The match ball is in good condition with legible signatures. The jersey shows visible dirt marks and staining to the front and sleeves. Many of the signatures on the jersey have suffered from significant ink bleeding and migration, making identification difficult.
