A trio of framed prints on paper featuring Labrador Retrievers in various settings. The collection includes a limited edition print titled Master of the Game by D. Howorth, numbered 32 of 800, depicting a black Labrador standing in an autumnal woodland landscape with a distant figure of a hunter and dog; the work is signed in pencil to the lower right margin. Also included is a print after Robert J. May featuring three studies of black Labradors, including a puppy and a head portrait, signed in the plate. The third work is a collage-style print by Nigel Hemming (British, b. 1954) featuring several yellow and black Labradors in multiple poses, signed in the plate to the lower right. All three prints are mounted and housed behind glass in wooden frames, with some featuring burl-wood effect veneers and gold-tone inner borders.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. The wooden frames show minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with age and domestic use. The prints appear well-preserved with no visible evidence of foxing, staining, or significant fading. The items have not been examined out of their frames.
