Buyer's Premium:

A mixed collection of antique and vintage items.

The collection features a three-piece silver-plated Britannia metal tea service in the Queen Anne revival style, comprising a teapot, a two-handled sugar bowl, and a cream jug. Each piece is designed with gadrooning to the lower body and features scroll handles. The teapot is fitted with a flush-hinged lid, a fluted finial, and an ebonised handle grip.
Underside marks:
The sugar bowl is stamped with the number 58 above EPBM in rectangular shields.

The teapot is stamped with the number 98 above EPBM in rectangular shields.

Also included is a pair of Anglo-Indian brass candlesticks modelled as rearing cobras with flared hoods, their coiled serpentine bodies forming the bases, with candle nozzles mounted on the heads. The brass surfaces are hand-engraved with traditional foliate and geometric scrollwork patterns.

The collection further contains a vintage No. 2 Brownie box camera manufactured by the Canadian Kodak Co. Limited in Toronto, Canada. The black textured leatherette camera is accompanied by a brown canvas carrying bag. An embossed circular logo on the rear reads CANADIAN KODAK CO. LIMITED TORONTO CANADA and USE FILM NO 120, surrounding No. 2 BROWNIE.

Completing the lot is a small, antique iron spring balance scale with a hanging hook and holding ring.

No weight or measurements are available for this lot.

Condition report:

The silver-plated tea service pieces show heavy tarnish, surface oxidation, and iridescent rainbow toning consistent with age, but remain structurally sound. The brass cobra candlesticks display a dark patina, minor surface wear, and remnants of old polish, with filler or weighting visible inside the hollow bases. The Kodak box camera exhibits wear to the leatherette corners, minor oxidation to the metal fittings, and age-related wear and staining to the canvas carrying bag. The antique spring balance scale is heavily rusted and oxidised.
