A trio of limited-edition commemorative Olympic pin badge sets, produced to celebrate the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and Australia’s history in the competition. These officially licensed sets feature enamel pins mounted on themed card backings.
The first set is titled 104 Years of Australian Olympic Participation and features 15 enamel pins in the form of pennant flags. Each flag represents a host nation or city from 1896 to 2000. The display includes a printed list of host cities and dates, the Australian flag, and the Olympic rings. It is individually numbered in the lower-left corner as 1018/5000 and is marked © AOC 1997 in the lower-right corner. The set is mounted within a dark blue textured card mount.
The second set, also titled 104 Years of Australian Olympic Participation, contains 17 enamel pins in the shape of rowing oars. Each oar blade is decorated with the flag of a host nation, with corresponding cities and dates printed directly beneath. This companion piece shares the same header and footer design as the pennant set, featuring the Australian flag and Olympic rings, and is marked © AOC 1997. It is mounted within a dark blue textured card mount.
The third set is titled Official Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Pictograms and consists of 35 interlocking enamel pins designed as puzzle pieces. Each pin depicts a white pictogram representing a specific Olympic sport against alternating black and blue backgrounds. The set is mounted on a medium blue card backing with descriptive text and a reference to the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) website. It is noted as a Limited Production.
