Struck in .585 fineness gold with a proof finish, the piece is presented in a protective clear plastic capsule and is accompanied by an original Certificate of Authenticity, numbered 00604. The obverse features a portrait of Princess Elizabeth in military uniform with the inscription 1942 COLONEL OF THE GRENADIER GUARDS. The reverse depicts the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom, surrounded by the legend THE QUEEN’S DIAMOND JUBILEE and the dates 1952-2012. A 585 hallmark is visible on the reverse to the right of the date range. According to the technical information provided, this issue was part of a limited edition of 5,555 complete collections.
