This collection of vintage model railway items is primarily identified as belonging to the Lone Star Locos and Treble-O-Lectric ranges, manufactured by Die Cast Machine Tools Ltd in the United Kingdom. The lot includes a green 0-6-0 tank locomotive and multiple tenders, some of which feature a crest resembling the early British Railways cycling lion emblem. The rolling stock comprises several pieces including two silver-coloured passenger coaches with red detailing, an orange and red streetcar marked South Shore, multiple green BP and black Shell tank wagons, and various open wagons and vans in brown and grey liveries. Supporting pieces include a die-cast BP Super petrol pump and a green plastic footbridge section. A large quantity of track, featuring straight sections, curves, points, and signals, is contained within a vintage pressed tin blue Roses The Giant Tin. Also included is a heavily worn cardboard box marked LOCOMOTIVE and MADE IN GERMANY.
Condition report:
The items are in a heavily played-with, as found condition. There is widespread paint chipping, surface oxidation, and accumulated grime across the die-cast metal components. The track sections show signs of surface corrosion. The associated cardboard box is heavily soiled and shows significant structural damage. All mechanical and electrical components are untested.
