This collection comprises an assortment of hand-painted ceramic figurines from celebrated English manufacturers, predominantly featuring characters from the Beatrix Potter series alongside examples from Brambly Hedge and the Noddy collection. The Beatrix Potter figurines, produced by both Beswick and Royal Albert, include Jemima Puddle-duck with Foxy Whiskered Gentleman, Mr. Drake Puddle-Duck, Rebeccah Puddle-Duck, Mrs. Ribby, Lady Mouse, Jeremy Fisher, Miss Moppet, Old Mr. Brown, Mr. Jackson, Foxy Reading, Mrs. Tiggy Winkle Takes Tea, the Tailor of Gloucester, and The Old Woman who lived in a Shoe Knitting. Most pieces bear printed factory marks to the base, including the Royal Albert crown mark or Beswick/Royal Doulton stamps, with copyright dates ranging from 1949 to 1990. Condition report:
The collection is generally in good vintage condition. A significant repair is noted on the Lady Mouse figurine, which shows a visible crack line and evidence of re-gluing around the neck and collar area. Other pieces exhibit minor shelf wear and light surface marking to the bases consistent with age and display.
