A diverse collection of British and international ceramics featuring factory-made services and individual studio pottery pieces. The group includes a partial Poole Pottery Twintone dinner service in the C104 Sky Blue and Dove Grey colourway, comprising dinner plates, side plates, dessert bowls, a large oval serving platter, and a sauce boat, all bearing the printed circular dolphin mark. Studio pottery highlights include a large mug from the Zennor Mermaid Pottery with a heavily textured vesicular glaze in deep blue and sea green, hand-inscribed with a mermaid silhouette to the base; a stylized footed bowl by Cricket Pottery with white trailed decoration on a mottled blue ground; and a flared landscape vase by Rankin Pottery decorated with a hand-painted tree, dated 2010. Also present are two Prinknash Abbey Pottery vases with metallic black glazes and white floral motifs; a small Chinese porcelain bowl with hand-painted floral decoration and a red backstamp; a two-tone salt-glazed stoneware storage jar; and a large black glazed jug with a loop handle and stopper. The collection is completed by a ceramic mortar and pestle, two square plates featuring bird illustrations, and two boxed porcelain cups decorated with rose sprigs, one bearing a retailer label for Bournemouth.
