Buyer's Premium:

A diverse collection of glassware comprising decorative lead crystal, enamelled pieces, and utilitarian containers. The group features lead crystal decanters with deep-cut hobnail and diamond patterns, fitted with multi-faceted ball stoppers. These pieces are in the style of the Montparnasse pattern by Cristal d’Arques. Also included is a cranberry-to-clear cased glass decanter with wheel-etched grapevine motifs and a faceted stopper, alongside a cranberry glass liqueur glass with similar etching. A Victorian Bohemian style amethyst glass vase features hand-painted white enamelled floral sprays and a gilt-edged rim. The assortment also contains a small blue satin glass vessel with a flared rim. The bulk of the collection consists of clear glass dressing table and apothecary bottles and jars, varying from cylindrical to rectangular forms with fluted, faceted, and diamond-cut decorations, as well as plain moulded examples. Several items feature ground necks intended for glass stoppers. Accessories include a circular clear glass flower frog with multiple apertures and a separate wire mesh flower grid. No maker’s marks or signatures were observed during inspection.

Condition report:

The collection is in a condition consistent with age and use. Many of the dressing table bottles and jars are missing their original stoppers or lids. There is visible cloudiness and interior residue in several clear glass containers. Light surface wear and minor chipping or \'flea bites\' to the sharp edges of the cut patterns and ground rims are present throughout the assortment.
