This collection comprises several hand-carved decorative items crafted from a dark-toned hardwood. The group includes a large walking elephant figure with stylised features, an elephant relief-carved into a natural wood segment, a pedestal candle holder featuring a metal spike and a carved elephant finial, and an elephant-form side table with a thick, natural-edge slab top. The items are finished with a dark stain and a light polish that accentuates the natural grain of the timber. No signatures, maker’s marks, or labels are visible on any of the components.

The items exhibit various levels of wear and damage. The largest elephant figure has sustained significant losses to both ears and a chip to the tip of the trunk, alongside several deep vertical drying cracks through the body. The side table shows minor losses to the bark on the slab edge and general surface scuffs. The remaining pieces show moderate signs of use, including small base chips and surface scratches.
