A collection of vintage decorative ceramics and glassware. The lot features a tall ceramic coffee pot by Hornsea Pottery in the Bronte pattern, designed by John Clappison, featuring a repeating geometric motif in green and brown glazes. The base is marked HORNSEA 1978, BRONTE, and MADE IN ENGLAND around a stylised bird logo. The group includes green-glazed ceramic soup bowls or cups with elongated handles and embossed exterior patterns. Also present is a pair of tall, stylised ceramic Siamese cat figurines with hand-painted features and a hand-painted ceramic figurine of a German Shepherd dog. The glassware consists of a blown-glass basket with a ruffled rim, a loop handle, and internal multi-coloured confetti glass inclusions in red, blue, and white. Further items in the collection include a blue and white transfer-printed plate in a Willow-style pattern, a small ceramic cup with green banding, and a decorative ceramic egg with hand-painted floral motifs.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good condition, showing light surface wear and minor abrasions commensurate with age and domestic use. There are no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair to the ceramic or glass pieces.
