An assortment of clear glassware comprising a variety of 20th-century vanity, dressing table, and tabletop items. The collection features numerous lidded and open jars, perfume bottles, and small trinket dishes. Tableware is represented by open salt cellars, bud vases, and several circular glass flower frogs with multiple apertures. Also included is a group of tall, slender specimen bottles with fluted bodies, alongside larger decorative items such as a heavily cut glass decanter and a footed bowl. The items display various glassmaking techniques including cut glass with sharp linear fluting and facet-cut details, and pressed glass with molded patterns including hobnail, diamond point, starburst bases, and floral motifs. Some pieces are of simple, unadorned form. No manufacturer signatures or backstamps are visible. One piece carries a modern white adhesive label with the code W924P.
Condition report:
The collection is in varied as found condition. Several pieces, particularly perfume bottles and jars, show visible cloudiness and calcium deposits. There are minor nibbles and small chips to the rims of some vessels and the sharp edges of the flower frogs. Metal collars and lids show varying degrees of tarnish and oxidation. All items are dusty and require cleaning; one small jar contains organic residue.
