This collection comprises an assortment of vintage workshop tools and equipment. The lot includes a large multi-tier metal cantilever toolbox, the lid of which features a hand-painted AUTO inscription in yellow above a faded decal for Metro and a Union Jack emblem. A heavy-duty cast iron bench vice is present. A boxed unit, appearing to be a portable air compressor or paint sprayer, features a cream-coloured housing with a red top plate and a grid-patterned vent. A fabric-lined suitcase contains a wide variety of hand tools, including wood-handled tenon and coping saws, various open-ended spanners and wrenches, pincers, pliers with insulated handles, large-gauge drill bits, a wooden mallet head, files, and a large natural-bristle dusting brush. A wooden crate contains a small electric motor assembly with associated wiring and white plastic pump components.
Condition report:
The collection is in used, unrestored condition. Significant surface corrosion and rust are evident on the metal toolbox and the bench vice. Hand tools show various degrees of oxidation and wear consistent with age and workshop use. All electrical and mechanical components are untested and sold as found for parts or restoration.
