This collection of vintage Citizen’s Band CB radio equipment comprises several components primarily dating from the early 1980s and manufactured for the United Kingdom market. The group includes an Alba CB H2 handheld 40-channel FM transceiver featuring a red LED channel display and S/RF meter. This unit is accompanied by its original cardboard box, operating instructions, and a black leatherette carrying case. Also featured is a Binatone Breaker Phone mobile transceiver system, designed with a hidden base unit and a telephone-style handset, presented in its original retail box with polystyrene inserts and a guarantee card. The lot further contains a Stalker IV mobile CB radio unit with a wood-grain effect faceplate, chrome-finished trim, and a dynamic noise-cancelling microphone. Included with the Stalker unit is an Academy brand circular external speaker mounted on an adjustable base. Completing the collection is an HMP DV 27 communication antenna, which remains in its original plastic packaging. All radio units bear markings indicating compliance with UK Home Office specification MPT 1320.
Condition report:
The condition of the collection is mixed. The Alba CB H2 unit appears physically intact, but the included leatherette case shows significant surface flaking and white residue. The Binatone Breaker Phone components display some surface oxidation and rust on the metal mounting brackets. The Stalker IV unit exhibits visible signs of age, including dust accumulation and pitting to the chrome-effect trim. The HMP antenna is in new-old-stock condition, appearing unused. All electronic items are sold as untested and the working status of any component is unknown.
