A collection of UK commemorative coins and circulated decimal coinage. The group primarily features cupro-nickel crowns issued by the Royal Mint, including the 1965 Winston Churchill memorial crown, the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, and the 1980 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. A significant portion of these crowns are housed in blue plastic presentation cases issued by the Trustee Savings Bank, marked with TSB or TRUSTEE SAVINGS BANK. The 1977 Silver Jubilee crowns feature the equestrian portrait obverse and the ampulla and coronation chair reverse. The 1980 commemoratives feature the reverse portrait of the Queen Mother surrounded by bows and lions. One gilt-coloured base metal crown is also present in a TSB case. The loose portion of the collection includes assorted UK decimal and pre-decimal coinage in bronze, copper, and white metal compositions across various denominations. Visible inscriptions include HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER 80TH BIRTHDAY AUG 4TH 1980, H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER JUBILEE CROWN, and CHURCHILL.
