The lower portion of the collection includes multiple cardboard boxes containing brown glass beer bottles equipped with swing-top wire closures and ceramic caps printed with BIER – BIERE – BIRRA.
Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear. Much of the glassware and stoneware shows accumulated surface dust, grime, and minor staining consistent with long-term storage. The marmalade jar has visible discolouration to the ceramic body. The oxygen regulator displays surface oxidation and wear to the dial markings. The swing-top bottles show paint loss and wear to the ceramic caps, and the rubber seals appear perished. The cardboard storage boxes are worn with some tearing and structural softening.
