This collection consists of three vintage portable audio units manufactured for the mid-20th century British market. The first item is a Stellaphone 4-Track reel-to-reel magnetic tape recorder featuring a two-tone cream and charcoal grey plastic suitcase-style housing with a carry handle and detachable lid. The control panel contains three silver-capped rotary knobs for Radio/Phono, Volume, and Tone/Micro, five piano-key style transport buttons, and a four-digit analogue tape counter. Internal labels indicate the unit was Made in Austria. It is accompanied by two tape reels and a handheld microphone with cabling. The second item is a Portadyne Four Speed Record Reproducer housed in a suitcase-style wooden cabinet covered in tan-and-white patterned vinyl with brown trim and a red quilted-effect interior lining. An internal manufacturer label states Made in England. The unit is fitted with a BSR multi-speed automatic changer turntable and a grey plastic tonearm, with two front-mounted rotary knobs for volume and tone control. The third item is a Fidelity portable record player with a vibrant red textured vinyl-wrapped cabinet and grey plastic front speaker grille. All items in this collection are offered as untested with the working status unknown. The Stellaphone tape recorder shows minor scuffing and accumulated dust consistent with age. The Portadyne record player exhibits notable wear to the exterior case, including staining and a damaged carry handle; the rubber turntable mat is warped and detached from the platter. The Fidelity record player is in fair cosmetic condition for its age and includes its power cable.
