An assortment of approximately fourteen garden planters and one decorative garden ornament in various materials including glazed ceramic, terracotta, and reconstituted stone. The collection includes five circular pots in reconstituted stone with a rough-hewn aggregate finish to the rims, alongside a cylindrical planter moulded with a wooden-barrel stave and hoop design. Glazed ceramic items comprise a blue-glazed planter featuring a circular medallion with a silhouette of a child holding a flower, a black-glazed circular pot, a cream and brown ribbed stoneware planter, and a green-glazed banded pot. The lot also contains a two-tone honey-brown and cream salt-glazed stoneware jar and terracotta vessels consisting of a rectangular trough and two square-profile tapered pots. A painted figure of a duck is included as a decorative ornament.
Condition report:
The collection shows varying degrees of outdoor weathering consistent with use. Reconstituted stone and terracotta items exhibit heavy moss and lichen growth along with surface scaling. All items contain internal soil residue. The blue-glazed pot has visible chips to the glaze on the rim and body. The duck ornament has significant paint loss and weathering.
