This modular furniture suite is part of the award-winning Tapley 33 system, designed by Robert Heritage for Beaver and Tapley. The group comprises a long, low-profile sideboard and two matching smaller twin-door cabinets designed for either wall-mounting or stacking. The set is finished in a warm-toned wood veneer, displaying the grain and colour characteristics of teak. The sideboard features a bank of three drawers alongside three cupboards, one of which includes a circular cable management access point in the back panel. The design follows a minimalist, handle-less aesthetic with flush-fronted doors and drawers, fitted with modern concealed cup hinges. An interior label is present and identifies the pieces, bearing the transcription THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF FURNITURE MAKERS, Guild Mark, and Tapley 33. No measurements were provided as no ruler is present for scale.
Condition report:
The suite is in good structural and cosmetic condition. The wood veneer surfaces appear well-maintained with consistent colour and clean lines throughout. There are no significant scratches, losses to the veneer, or visible repairs. All doors and drawers are properly aligned and operate smoothly on their respective hinges and runners.
