A mid-twentieth century dining suite in the Danish style, comprising a rectangular extending dining table and six matching chairs. The table top is finished in teak veneers with rounded D-ends and a solid wood border. It is supported by four tapering cylindrical legs and features a central seam that opens to reveal a butterfly folding extension leaf stored beneath the surface. The matching set of six chairs features high backs with six vertical slats. The seats are padded and upholstered in a neutral beige and grey diamond pattern fabric. The chair frames are constructed from solid wood with tapered square-section legs. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible.
Condition report:
The suite is presented in good vintage condition. The table top exhibits some light surface scratches, minor abrasions, and faint ring marks consistent with domestic use. The chair frames are structurally sound, and the upholstery is clean and well-preserved.
