An assortment of art glass paperweights of various forms and internal decorations, featuring designs consistent with mid-to-late 20th-century production. The collection includes several spherical and egg-shaped pieces. One spherical weight contains a dense, dark green and black swirled nebula-style core encased in clear glass. A teardrop-shaped weight is decorated with an external brown spiral trail wrapped around the clear body. One egg-shaped weight features an internal white spiral vortex with multi-coloured glass flecks at the base. A pink-tinted egg-shaped weight contains a purple internal stylized floral or mushroom-like lampwork form. A deep blue spherical weight features yellow and green spindly, seaweed-like forms accompanied by controlled air bubbles, a technique known as bullicante. A clear spherical weight contains pink and white internal ribbon swirls positioned over a mottled green base. The items are produced using a variety of glassworking techniques including lampwork, external trailing, and controlled bubbles. No makers’ marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
The paperweights appear to be in good overall condition. There are no significant chips, cracks, or large scratches visible. Minor surface wear and light scratches to the bases consistent with age and use may be present.
