A collection of lighters of varying styles, manufacturers, and eras. The group includes a heavily patinated, rounded antique-style metal case, possibly a match safe or early lighter housing, exhibiting significant surface oxidation. Also included is a slender gold-toned lighter with black vertical panelling, marked LUNDI on the base with flame adjustment symbols. A modern, dark grey metal lighter with a textured grip is present, marked JOBON on its side. The collection features several flip-top, windproof lighters of Zippo-style construction with various applied emblems and graphics. One example features a colourful graphic titled Two Beer or Not Two Beer alongside a caricature and a cannabis leaf. The remaining four silver-toned lighters feature applied metal emblems, including a United States Navy-style eagle and shield with crossed anchors; a skull with the engraved text Mess with the Best and Die like the Rest; a United States Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor emblem; and an eagle head profile over a flag.
Condition report:
The items exhibit a wide range of conditions. The antique-style case shows significant oxidation, surface pitting, and loss of original finish. The Lundi and Jobon lighters show light surface scratching and fingerprints consistent with use. The windproof lighters exhibit light to moderate surface wear, with some fingerprints and minor scratches to the polished finishes. The graphic on the caricature lighter shows minor wear at the edges. All items are in unverified working condition; internal components and fuel levels have not been tested.
