The lot is centred around a Challenge Electric Mitre Saw, model MMS3522, rated at 900 watts and designed for a 210mm tungsten-carbide-tipped blade, presented in its original retail packaging. Also included is a manual Precision Mitre Saw in its original box, a Stanley Bridges mitre fence assembly, and a blue-enamelled manual tile cutter. Several wooden tool chests and a pair of dark wood drawers contain an assortment of hand tools, such as various wood-handled chisels, multiple hand saws, a collection of auger bits, hole saws, a red metal caulking gun, and a vintage Golden Virginia tobacco tin used for storage. Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear and signs of use. Surface oxidation and rust are present on several metal components, including the hand tools and the mitre fence. The original cardboard packaging for the saws shows significant wear, including tearing, creasing, and damp spotting. The wooden chests and drawers show surface scuffs and scratches consistent with workshop use. Electrical and mechanical functionality of the power and manual equipment has not been tested.
