A large, one-piece solid pine armoire or wardrobe of traditional country design. The unit features a protruding moulded cornice above two full-length panelled doors, each fitted with a turned wooden knob. The doors open to reveal an interior with a single fixed high-level shelf and a large lower storage compartment featuring a small vertical partition at the base. The cabinet is constructed with tongue-and-groove planked back panels and sits on a simple plinth base. Interior fittings include metal butt hinges and magnetic door catches. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible; a small red adhesive label remnant is present on the interior back panel.
Condition report:
The piece is in good used condition with surface wear consistent with age and use. There are minor scuffs, light scratches, and small indentations to the pine throughout, notably around the plinth base and along the edges of the doors. A red sticker remnant is present on the interior back panel. No major structural damage or significant losses were observed.
