A 2025 United Kingdom silver sovereign struck to proof standard by The Royal Mint. The obverse features the left-facing uncrowned portrait of King Charles III with the Latin inscription CHARLES III · DEI · GRA · REX · FID · DEF. The reverse depicts the classic 1817 design by Benedetto Pistrucci of St. George on horseback slaying a dragon, with the date 2025 appearing in the exergue at the bottom and a small shield privy mark to the lower right. The coin is struck in .999 fine silver. This specimen is housed within a clear protective plastic capsule and is presented in its original Royal Mint black lacquered display box, accompanied by a white outer cardboard sleeve and a Certificate of Authenticity numbered 36401.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The coin is in its original as-issued proof condition with brilliant mirrored fields and frosted devices. There are no visible signs of wear, handling, or toning. The presentation packaging and certificate are in excellent condition.
