A 2022 Gibraltar gold commemorative coin struck to mark the accession of King Charles III. The coin is struck in yellow gold with a proof-like finish. The obverse features an uncrowned left-facing portrait of King Charles III with the legend CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · GIBRALTAR · 2022 ·. The reverse depicts confronted profile busts of Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III separated by the royal orb and sceptre. The coin is finished with a reeded edge and is presented in a clear plastic protective flip.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The coin displays high luster with mirrored fields and frosted relief details. There is no evidence of wear, handling marks, or toning.
