A UK 2014 silver twenty-pound (£20) coin issued by the Royal Mint to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. The obverse features the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the legend ELIZABETH·II·D·G·REG·F·D and the denomination TWENTY POUNDS. The reverse, designed by John Bergdahl, depicts Britannia and a lion watching over ships departing for France, with the inscriptions THE FIRST WORLD WAR, 1914, 1918, and 2014. The coin is housed in a clear plastic slab within a black CPM presentation case and is accompanied by a certificate of provenance.
