This set of three gold proof coins was issued by Gibraltar in 2025 as part of The Classics Remastered series. The collection comprises three denominations: an Eighth Sovereign, a Quarter Sovereign, and a Half Sovereign, all struck in 0.916 fine (22 carat) gold with a proof finish. The obverse of each coin features the effigy of King Charles III by Raphael Maklouf, surrounded by the legend CHARLES III • DEI • GRA • REX • F • D • GIBRALTAR • 2025 •. The reverse depicts a remastered design of Saint George and the Dragon by Angela Pistrucci, overlaid with a shield motif commemorating the 200th anniversary of the 1825 shield design. The coins are housed in their original protective capsules within a black fitted presentation case, accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Quarter Sovereign: 13.50mm diameter, 1.99g weight
Half Sovereign: 19.30mm diameter, 3.99g weight
Total weight: Approximately 6.98g of 22 carat gold

Condition report:
The coins are in as-issued, uncirculated proof condition with frosted devices and mirror-like fields. There are no visible surface marks, wear, or toning. The presentation case and paperwork are in excellent, clean condition.
