Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of original artworks and prints encompassing various media including oil on board, watercolour, pencil on paper, and decorative needlework. The collection features a signed print by Peter Scott titled After a Snowstorm, depicting Wild Bewick’s Swan and Pintails, published by The Sportsman’s Gallery, London. Original works include a watercolour landscape of Stickle Tarn signed A. Heaton Cooper; a pair of oil studies on board depicting a robin and a pied wagtail signed Evelyn Crossley; and a pencil drawing titled The Chandler’s Shop, Morwellham, signed and dated R.R. Ryall 1984. The lot further includes a pencil study of apples signed and dated Edna Topping 2007; a watercolour of bluebells signed Y. Gardiner; a nautical scene signed A. Brandreth; and a large winter landscape print after Joseph Farquharson. Additional items comprise a watercolour of Blarish Bridge, a monochromatic blue print of a figure in a garden, and a framed needlepoint depicting monkeys. Most works are presented in glazed wooden, gilt, or painted frames with coordinating mounts.


Condition report:

The collection is in generally good condition with items showing signs of age and previous display. Several frames exhibit minor scuffs, small chips to the corners, and general surface wear. The pencil drawing by R.R. Ryall has visible surface marks and scattered foxing to the paper support. Toning and minor discolouration are present on some mounts and paper margins.
