A collection of Royal Albert fine bone china in the Old Country Roses pattern. This world-renowned pattern features clusters of deep red, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage, finished with a heavy, stippled gilding to the rims and handles. The assortment comprises a variety of standard and miniature forms, including teacups, saucers, and side plates. Notable items include a lidded twin-handled sugar bowl, a cream jug, a small ovoid vase, a miniature teapot, and a heart-shaped dish. Also included are a small open-work basket with a twisted handle, a ceramic thimble, and a shaped plaque decorated with a transfer-printed cottage landscape scene. The collection is further enhanced by several hand-modeled floral rose ornaments, featuring delicate individual petals and leaves. Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition with the gilding remaining bright. The delicate hand-modeled floral rose ornaments are largely intact, showing only very minor wear consistent with handling. No cracks, significant chips, or repairs are visible.
