Start price: £5

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of vintage-style die-cast model vehicles from the Lledo Days Gone series, manufactured in England by Lledo (London) Limited. The assortment comprises various commercial and promotional vehicles constructed with die-cast metal bodies and plastic components. Included are several retailer-exclusive editions for Hamleys, such as a 1934 Packard (Model 18017) and a 1934 Dennis Delivery Van (Model 34002). The collection features numerous well-known commercial liveries including Coca-Cola, Tate & Lyle Packet Sugars, Colman’s Mustard, Oxydol, Castrol, and Shell. Specific models identified from the packaging include a 1920 Model T Ford Tanker, a 1928 Model T Ford Tanker, and a 1934 Model A Ford. The lot contains both boxed examples in original cardboard and plastic window packaging and loose, unboxed models. Notable unboxed vehicles include a green and white Western National bus with Western Morning News decals, a red and black Western Evening Herald delivery van, and a red fire engine with a wooden-effect ladder and white-rimmed wheels. Packaging is marked Made in England by Lledo (London) Limited and bears the Days Gone branding. Some items carry auction house lot stickers for Plymouth.

Condition report:

The boxed models are in generally good condition, though the original packaging shows varying degrees of shelf wear, minor creasing to the card, and dust accumulation consistent with age. The Coca-Cola branded box exhibits more significant wear and some tape residue. Unboxed models appear complete but show light surface dust and occasional minor paint loss from handling. The die-cast structures and plastic components remain sound across the collection.
