A collection of decorative objects, ceramics, metalware, and books, largely themed around British country pursuits and wildlife. Ceramic highlights include a T.G. Green Cornishware blue and white horizontal-striped teapot, a Wedgwood light blue Jasperware diamond-shaped dish featuring a white bas-relief figure holding a lyre, and a novelty teapot in the form of a cottage. The group includes relief-moulded items such as a large floral jug and a green pixie figurine. Wildlife subjects are represented by two ceramic fox figurines, a small dish with a hand-painted fox portrait signed JET, and a silvered hare. Horological and metalware items include a brass-cased carriage clock marked London Clock Co. on the dial, a copper pot with relief decoration, and brass fire tools. Sporting interest items feature two wooden shield-mounted horseshoes with brass plaques inscribed TROOPER and BAYARD, alongside a carved wooden box depicting a hunting scene. The lot is completed by two cloth-bound books titled Hunting Songs by R. E. Egerton Warburton and Galloping Shoes by Will H. Condition report:
The items show general wear commensurate with age and use. The cottage teapot lid is cracked. The running fox figurine tail shows signs of damage. The vintage photograph is creased and torn. Metal components exhibit surface tarnish and dust throughout. Ceramics show occasional surface crazing and minor marks.
