This collection of vintage computing equipment is manufactured by Commodore and comprises a Commodore 64 home computer and a Commodore 1530 Datassette Unit Model C2N. The computer unit is housed in its original illustrated retail box. The peripheral Datassette unit is similarly contained within its original retail packaging, featuring internal polystyrene protective inserts. The lot includes an assortment of over thirty cassette-based software titles for the Commodore 64 and 128 systems. Notable publishers represented include Ocean, Imagine, U.S. Gold, Activision, Mastertronic, Gremlin, and Kixx. Identifiable titles include Batman The Movie, The Untouchables, Operation Wolf, Paperboy, Wizball, Saboteur, Joe Blade, Typhoon, and International Soccer. Compilations such as Solid Gold Softwares Greatest Hits and 5 All-Action Computer Hits are also included. A white adhesive label with the handwritten reference T938E is attached to the Datassette internal packaging.
Condition report:
The Commodore 64 unit exhibits significant UV-related discolouration and yellowing to the plastic casing and keyboard keys. The original retail boxes for both the computer and the Datassette show age-related shelf wear, including corner scuffing, edge wear, and minor creasing. Software cases and paper inlays show general handling wear, occasional light scuffing, and minor fading to the spines. The lot is sold as untested. Completeness regarding the presence of original power supplies, connecting cables, or manuals has not been verified.
