A collection of decorative objects comprising various ceramics, glassware, and metalware. Included is a West German pottery planter by Scheurich, featuring a textured shell motif to the exterior, with incised marks to the base reading 818-18, W. GERMANY, and the molded three interlocking circles symbol. The ceramic components include a pair of blue and white Dutch-style character mugs and a large transfer-printed teapot decorated with a blue Chinoiserie landscape scene. Metalware consists of a commemorative pewter tankard embossed with British Freshwater Fish and catch records from 1969 and 1972, and a copper pitcher with a lid. Glassware comprises a set of dessert bowls with hand-painted yellow sunflower motifs and accompanying forks with coloured handles, a mottled blue glass vase, and a green box for Collins Crystal. The lot also features a Metamec mantel clock with a rectangular brass-tone case and a white dial with Roman numerals, alongside various other ceramic vases and figurines.
Condition report:
The items are in fair condition overall, showing general signs of shelf wear and age-related use. Visible surface dust is present throughout the collection. Certain ceramic items exhibit minor crazing to the glazes. Metalware pieces show instances of surface oxidation and tarnish. The Metamec clock is untested for functionality.
