A collection of hand-painted medieval figures and horses manufactured by Schleich and Papo. The figures are constructed from moulded PVC. The assortment features several mounted horses with decorative caparisons and heraldic motifs, including a white horse with red dragon designs, two horses in red with gold lion rampant imagery, a blue and yellow horse with a lion rampant motif, and a brown horse wearing a red and tan stag-themed caparison with an antlered headpiece. Also included is a horse in silver and black plate barding. The group contains several knights on foot in various combat poses, featuring surcoats in colours including blue and white, red and silver, and white with red stripes, alongside a knight in black plate armour. A detached red heater-style shield with a gold cross accessory is also present.
Condition report:
The items show signs of moderate play wear throughout. Visible paint loss and scuffing are evident on the decorative caparisons of the horses and the armour of the knights. Several figures appear to be missing original hand-held accessories such as lances or swords. The lot is a mixed assortment where some riders and mounts are mismatched. Minor surface dust and marks consistent with use and storage are visible.
