A collection of framed artworks comprising a watercolour on paper and various prints. The primary work is a watercolour on paper depicting a terrace of stone houses with vibrant floral gardens to the foreground, signed and dated Lyons ’93 to the lower right. This is presented in a dark-stained wooden frame with a gilt slip. The group further includes three small-format tinted topographical prints on paper, titled THE HOTEL & CLOCK TOWER., MOUNT EDGCUMBE HOUSE., and THE SOUND FROM MOUNT EDGCUMBE., each housed in natural pine frames with cream mounts. Also present is a larger colour photographic print of a hillside village in a rustic wooden frame, and a pair of colour prints depicting Impressionist-style garden scenes in green-stained wooden frames. Identification stickers for lot D9638 are present on the glazing of several items.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition. Some light age-related toning and minor foxing are present to the paper mounts of the topographical prints. The wooden frames show light surface wear and minor scuffing to the edges consistent with age. The glazing is intact across all items.
