A collection of golf-related memorabilia and awards, predominantly associated with the Sparkwell Artisan Swingers Society (SASGS). The group includes a crystal-style trophy mounted on a circular wooden base with a silver-tone plaque engraved: S.A.S.G.S. Danny Watson Memorial Bowl 3rd Place 2005. Also present is a cut-glass trophy bowl on a black square plinth.
The assortment features several cold-cast or metal-plated figurines depicting golfers in various poses, including putting and mid-swing, as well as two circular metal relief plaques featuring golf bags and clubs in silver and bronze-toned finishes. A miniature copper-toned golf ball and club head ornament is included.
The collection contains approximately 20 metal medallions with embossed golfing scenes in silver, bronze, and copper-toned effects.
Textile items include a blue knit garment featuring an embroidered winged golf club logo with the text: SPARKWELL ARTISAN SWINGERS SOCIETY, with the letters SAS highlighted in yellow. A red and blue striped tie is also present, bearing the SGS winged club emblem.
Included is a boxed Remote Control Golfer toy in its original red and yellow packaging, which features an infrared control and a price sticker of £18. A small green fabric novelty golfer doll completes the lot. One figurine base is marked with a white sticker reading 7938E.
Condition report:
The collection is in good used condition overall. Trophies and medals show light surface wear and minor signs of handling consistent with display. The Remote Control Golfer box shows minor creasing and wear to the edges. Textiles appear well-maintained without visible staining or tears.
