A three-piece suite of bedroom furniture in a modern country aesthetic. The set includes one dressing chest featuring four drawers and an integrated tilting rectangular mirror mounted on a shaped frame with turned uprights. The dressing chest is fitted with white ceramic-style circular knobs. Also included are two matching chests of drawers, each with four full-width drawers and turned wooden knobs finished in cream. These two units are topped with separate, thick solid wood slabs in a butcher-block style, featuring a low back gallery upstand. The carcases and drawer fronts are finished in a smooth cream paint over wood or engineered wood. Drawer construction is modern, utilising thin-walled sides with mechanical jointing rather than traditional dovetails. Some drawers retain a floral patterned paper lining.
Condition report:
The suite is in overall fair to good condition, exhibiting typical signs of domestic use. There are minor scuffs, chips, and marks to the painted surfaces consistent with age and storage. The wooden tops on the larger chests are separate components and are not fixed to the bases. The mirror on the dressing chest is intact and fully functional.
