This collection comprises a variety of vintage gentleman’s personal items and curiosities. Included are several pairs of cufflinks in gold and silver-tone finishes, with one pair bearing a label marked RHODINI. A gold-tone tie pin with a safety chain is presented in a blue box with a label marked HAND ENGRAVED. Smoking accessories include a selection of pocket lighters, featuring one with a blue graphic of a propeller aircraft and another with a vertical ribbed pattern. Two cigarette cases are present: a brass-tone example featuring the British Royal Coat of Arms and a chrome-plated rectangular case stamped ORIGINAL RECORD. A small wooden chest contains utility items, including a stainless steel spoon and fork, a German-made magnifier set in a plastic casing marked RS 549-460 Germany 3x, 4.5x, 6x, 9x, and a selection of circulated international coins, with Australian and French denominations visible. The items are housed in various presentation boxes and a wooden chest.
Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear. The brass cigarette case shows significant surface oxidation and tarnish. Other metal components, including the lighters and cufflinks, display surface scratches and minor tarnish consistent with age and use. The presentation boxes and wooden chest show external wear, scuffing, and fraying to the interior linings. The international coins are in circulated condition.
